YOUR PRIVACY IS OF UTMOST IMPORTANCE TO US. WE WILL NOT SELL, SHARE, TRANSFER OR RENT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION OTHER THAN IN ACCORDANCE WITH THIS PRIVACY POLICY AND THE TERMS OF USE.

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the privacy practices of RNsights, LLC (“RNsights”, “We”, “Our” or “Us”) relating to the collection, use and disclosure of the information We receive through your (“Your” or “You”) use of following websites: RNsights.com, RNsightsmembers.com, app.rnsights.com, critical.rnsights.com, NPsights.com, engage.npsights.com, PAsights.com and engage.pasights.com (for each website, the “Site”). The Privacy Policy will explain among other matters how: (i) We collect information; (ii) We may use or share information; and, (iii) We protect information. Please read this policy carefully to understand Our policies and practices regarding Your information and how We will treat it.

The RNsights websites and this Privacy Policy were developed for residents of the United States. If You are a resident of another country or if You do not agree with Our policies and practices, please close out of the Site without providing any personal information. By accessing or using the Site, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED

Information Collected At Registration. When you sign up for an account, We collect information from You on the Profile and Registration pages (“Registration Pages”). On the Registration Pages, You are required to provide certain information, which may be authenticated against a third party provider. This information includes name, e-mail address, postal address, institutional affiliation, NPI and/or license number and other similar information. As a registered participant, Your identity will remain anonymous to other users of the Site unless and until You choose to remove the anonymous functionality. If You remove the anonymous functionality, You may provide information in a personal profile such as Your credentials, professional experiences and biography, but bear in mind that this profile can be viewed by Our other registered participants.

Log Data, IP Addresses and Information About Your Computer and Mobile Device. When You visit the Site, Our servers automatically record information (“Log Data”) created by Your use of the Site. Log Data may include the URL of the site from which You came and the site to which You are going when You leave the Site. We also receive the internet protocol (“IP”) address of Your computer, Your computer operating system, type of web browser You are using, e-mail patterns, search terms, mobile device and mobile operating system if You are accessing the site with a mobile device, as well as the name of Your internet service provider (“ISP”) or mobile carrier. We may also collect information about your use of the Site including the date and time that You visit, the areas of the Site you visit, the amount of time You spend using the Site, the number of times You return and other usage data.

Cookies. Like many websites, We use “cookie” technology to collect additional usage data and to improve the Site. A cookie is a small data file that is sent to Your browser from a Web server and stored on Your computer’s hard drive. We may also use other similar technologies (e.g., flash cookies and web beacons) to automatically collect this additional information.

Tracking Options and California Do Not Track Disclosures. You may adjust your browser or operating system settings to limit this tracking or to decline cookies, but by doing so, you may not be able to use certain features on the Site. Note that Our systems may not recognize Do Not Track headers or requests from some or all browsers.

Other Sources. We may also obtain information about You from other sources, including social networks that You use to connect with the Site. This information may include name, user name, demographic information, address or contact information, interests and publicly-observed data, such as from social media and on-line activity.

User Communications. If you send an e-mail to Us, We may retain that e-mail in order to respond to Your inquiry or improve our services.

Third Party E-Mail Addresses. For the purposes of inviting and introducing third parties to RNsights, You will be given the option to import or otherwise provide e-mail addresses of third parties to RNsights.

2. HOW INFORMATION MAY BE USED AND SHARED

General. With the exception of disclosing Your identity, We may use all of the information We collect for any purpose whatsoever, including to analyze trends, administer the Site, track Your movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. We may share aggregated demographic information with third parties that is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person. We may also partner with another party to provide specific services. When You sign up for these services, We will share Your contact and other information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services.

We may also share the information We collect from You, including, but not limited to, Your identity, with selected third parties or affiliated entities that we believe may provide benefits to You, promotional materials, survey and educational engagement opportunities and goods and services that may be of interest to You. The sharing of information includes providing HCP level data to our clients regarding their sponsored content. Except for the foregoing, We will not sell, rent or otherwise give Your e-mail address to a third party without Your consent.

Forums Including Discussion Boards and Blog Comments. We may, from time to time, collect some of Your postings and group them together to use in a specific publication, print, electronic mailing or other public dissemination. However, neither Your name nor IP address will be revealed in any publication. In addition, when Your postings are used in this fashion, they may be edited to fit with the general content of the publication being prepared. It is important to remember that whenever You voluntarily disclose personal information in a forum, through e-mail or elsewhere, that information can be collected and used by others. If Your personal information is accessible to the public, You may receive unsolicited messages from other parties. You may participate in any forums offered through Us, but You agree not to post any material the content of which (i) is defamatory, libelous, obscene, indecent, abusive, threatening to others or in violation of any law; or (ii) infringes the copyright, trademark right, or other intellectual property right of any third party. You will be solely responsible for all content that You post on any forum of Ours. You agree to indemnify RNsights and its affiliates and their respective officers, employees and other agents from and against all liabilities, judgments, damages, and costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) incurred by any of them, which arise out of or are related to the content that You post. Forums are intended only for the personal use of Our subscribers, and may not be used for commercial purposes or for organized political activity.

Client Services. Certain client services, including but not limited to, polls, surveys, focus groups and advisory panels (each, a “Client Service” and collectively, the “Client Services”) may be conducted or established by RNsights, Our users or third parties. As a user, You may be invited to participate in one or more of the Client Services from the Site. Your selection may be random, or it may be based on Your non-personally identifiable information. Whether or not You decide to participate in a Client Service is voluntary and completely up to You.

We may offer You an honorarium or other incentive for Your participation in a Client Service, which may require that You provide Us with additional personal information. We will use this information only for the purpose of providing You with the incentive. We may also use third parties for delivering an incentive to You. You may be asked to provide Your contact information to the third party fulfilling the incentive. It is up to You whether You provide this information, or whether You desire to take advantage of an incentive.

Legal Requests. RNsights will cooperate with law enforcement inquiries, as well as other third parties, to enforce laws and third party rights, such as intellectual property rights and laws relating to fraud. Therefore, in response to a bonafide request by law enforcement or other government officials, RNsights can (and You authorize RNsights to) disclose Your personal data, including Your personal identity and other information about You as We, in Our sole discretion, believe necessary or appropriate.

Business Transfers. Information collected from You may be transferred to a third party as a result of a sale of assets, acquisition, merger, reorganization or bankruptcy involving RNsights and/or its affiliates.

3. HOW WE PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We have taken reasonable physical, administrative and technical steps to safeguard the information We collect from You. When We request that You enter sensitive information, that information is encrypted using Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software or other security protocol, which encrypts the information You input. All of Your information is stored on secure servers located in the United States. We also protect Your personal information off-line. Access to Your personal information is limited to employees or contractors who We reasonably believe will need that information to provide services to You, and no “paper” copies of Your personal information are maintained. However, while We make every effort to help ensure the integrity and security of Our network and systems, We cannot guarantee our security measures. It is also important for You to protect against unauthorized access to Your password and to Your computer.

4. USE BY MINORS

We do not intend to allow minors to use the Site. If You become aware that a minor child has provided Us with information please contact Us at admin@RNsights.com. We do not knowingly collect information from minor children. If We become aware that a minor child has provided Us with information, We will take steps to remove such information and terminate the minor’s account.

5. LINKS

The Site may contain links to other sites. The linked sites may not be under Our control. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. If You decide to access any of the third party sites linked to this Site, You do so entirely at Your own risk.

6. OPTING OUT; CORRECTING INACCURACIES; SITE AND SERVICE UPDATES

You will receive an initial communication from Us when You register. After the initial communication, You may opt out of receiving further communications. To be completely removed from Our mailing list, You may contact admin@RNsights.com or call (781) 910-3022.

If any of Your information changes, or if You no longer desire to use this Site, You can update Your profile on the “My Account” pages. We will endeavor to promptly correct, update or remove Your personal data. However, such data may remain in Our archival or backup systems.
 

We may send You Site and service announcement updates. You are not able to unsubscribe from these announcements, which contain important information about the Site.

7. CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time and will post any amended policy here. Since any such amendments will be binding on You, You should make certain You review this Privacy Policy from time to time.
